Key Responsibilities:
· Design and develop pastry menus in line with the restaurant's theme and customer preferences.
· Prepare, bake, and decorate a variety of dessert items such as biscuits, cannolis, milkshakes and other desserts, ensuring they meet quality and taste standards.
· Maintain a good understanding of food safety regulations, allergen labelling requirements, and dietary trends.
· Enforcing hygiene and safety standards in the pastry section of the kitchen, including cleanliness and proper food handling procedures.
· Inspect incoming ingredients from suppliers to ensure they meet quality standards, including freshness, flavour, and appearance.
· Coordinating with other chefs to streamline operations and maintain overall kitchen

Requirements:
Proven experience as a Chef, Baker, or relevant role.
Formal training in Culinary Arts, Pastry-Making, Baking, or equivalent (certifications or diploma preferred).
Strong artistic skills and ability to translate ideas into visually appealing dessert presentations.
Excellent understanding of baking techniques and the science behind pastry creation.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication and organizational skills.
