Flexographic Printer Normanton PERMANENT £32k - £34k Our client based in the Normanton area, have an immediate requirement to recruit 2 well versed Flexographic Printers to join their team. Duties Include: - Produce products to the required quality standards whilst maintaining non-negotiable H&S standards. - Ensure all jobs are printed accurately and to customers’ specifications as set out on Works Docket / Instructions - Ensure the appropriate quality checks are carried out in accordance with quality and standards operating procedures and any defects or incorrect print is appropriately documented, flagged and recorded on the company’s systems. - Ensure that maximum out-puts and efficiencies are achieved during the shift in line with the Shift Manager’s guidance and departmental / business KPIs. - Ensure all documentation is signed off and completed in line with company’s procedures. - Maintain and clean down the machine in line with usage. - Ensure an efficient handover to the following shift to ensure smooth continuous production of jobs. - Ensure that all health, safety, environmental, quality and hygiene policies required by the company are adhered to by you at all times - Ensuring that the area, equipment and machinery are kept clean and tidy and in accordance with the relevant procedures during shift. - Report machine breakdowns to the Shift Manager / Co-ordinator as soon as possible after they occur whilst striving to ensure minimum disruption to the team. - Assist in the general preventative maintenance of the machine. The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate a solid background within the print industry. PRE SERVICE R E S P O N S I B I L I T I E S o Allocating duties for CDR o Clean linen count and storage o Refilling the stations with printer rolls, pdq rolls and order pads o Checking the tables allocation with the front desk and update the floor o Check olive oil, salt and pepper, oregano and sauces levels and cleanliness o Check CDR duties and stations ready for service o Attend the pre service briefing SERVICE R E S P O N S I B I L I T I E S o Assist the hostess/ host to seat the customers o Great the guests and take the drinks order if the waiter is busy with another table o Place the drinks order with position numbers o If the waiter is busy with another table serve the drinks o Explain the menu and specials if any o Check with the waiter if any information was given to him by the guest before approaching the table for the order o Take the food order (check for allergies or intolerance) o Place the order on Micros o Check the mise en place and make sure enough space has been made for the food in the middle of the table o Assist the CDR serving the food at the table o Call the hot starters away o When a table is having cold and hot starters always refresh the plates between the course o Once the starters finished call the mains away and clear the table with the CDR and make sure the mise en place is correct for the mains o After the mains make sure the table is cleared, crumbed and table cloth replaced before the dessert menus are being handed o Make sure the dessert and coffee order has been placed by the waiter o Once the coffees and desserts order check the bill on micros and add the BILL CHECKED item this way everyone knows the bill is ok to be dropped, check with the sommelier in case the WINE CHECK hasn’t been done. Vacancy for an Assistant Clerk to the Parish Council Location: Mostly working from home. Proximity to the Chew Valley would be an advantage. In person attendance at some meetings, including other visits to the parish of Stowey Sutton are required. Must be self-motivated and a good sense of humour helps. A laptop and printer will be provided. Starting Hours: 20 per month (to be reviewed after successful completion of the induction period) worked flexibly, independently with a mix of home working, hot desking in the parish, some face to face, evening meetings (usually one, sometimes two a month) and very occasional weekend work. The Assistant Clerk will provide cover for all the duties carried out by the Parish Clerk during periods of annual leave or illness. The Assistant Clerk must have the confidence to deputise in such a manner. Rate: SCP 18 to 22 depending on experience (£29,269 to £31,364 per annum pro rata based on a 37-hour working week.)
