Looking for a driver that’s ready to go OTR immediately. Must have a CDL A Drivers License, Must know how to drive a 10 Speed Manuel Truck, and have atleast 3 years and up experience driving a 53ft dry-van. We pay 21% of the weeks total loads. (This is a Subcontracting position For DoorDash) Requirements: Personal vehicle will be needed for this position. - Receiving and reviewing customer orders through a mobile app or other communication method - Picking up food orders from the restaurant or food establishment - Ensuring the accuracy of orders and checking for any special instructions or requests from customers - Safely transporting food orders to the designated delivery location within a specified time frame - Providing excellent customer service by delivering orders in a friendly and professional manner - Handling cash or credit card payments from customers and returning any change due - Maintaining cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle - Following all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving - Communicating any issues or concerns with orders or deliveries to the restaurant or food delivery service management - Adhering to company policies and procedures, including dress code and code of conduct - Maintaining a positive attitude and representing the food delivery service in a professional manner at all times.
**Part-Time Day Habilitation Driver/DSP** Qualifications •Must have at least a high school diploma or GED •Driver's License (Required) •Must be able to drive a 12-15 Passenger Van •High school or equivalent (Required) Driver for Day Habilitation/Respite Program: Monday-Friday 7-10am / 1:00pm-4:00pm / 4:00pm-6:00pm ● Transporting Developmentally Disabled individuals to and from their residences to the Day Habilitation program in Bronx,NY using an agency vehicle ● Arrive at destinations on schedule ● Ability to plan for routes: ○ Use navigation applications to determine the best route(s) ○ Be aware of traffic, weather delays ● Ability to develop a rapport with the individuals of various backgrounds ● Must abide by OPWDD rules and regulations ● Ensure the agency vehicle is always in proper working order: ○ Fueled and ready to use ○ Report any vehicle maintenance needed to supervisor ○ Vehicle interior is kept clean ● Maintaining mileage record and Pick-up/Drop-Off logs Required Education and experience: ● Clean and valid New York State Driver’s License ● Excellent verbal and written skills ● Interact with individuals professionally and respectfully ● Ability to pass a background check ● Commercial Drivers License a plus ● Experience providing direct care of services to adults with developmental disabilities ● CPR & First Aid trained a plus as well

JOB DESCRIPTION: Direct Support Professionals work with individuals and/or small groups of Developmentally Disabled (DD) and/ or Intellectual Disabilities (DI) individuals. Provide instruction, supervision and direct assistance in facilitating services as outlined in individual’s Habilitative/ Staff Action Plan. Provide training and supervision in various activity of daily living, including: self-help, communications, interpersonal relations, leisure activities, etc. Transport program participants to and from their house and activities. Ensure that the vehicle is maintained clean and in proper working condition. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in the development of the individual’s Habilitative/ Staff Action Plan, Safeguards and in meeting that the objectives are in their plan of services. Assistance may be required in the following areas: cleaning, preparing snacks, social skills, budgeting, reading, math, computer skills, self-advocacy skills, volunteering, recreational and physical fitness activities. Staff may need to provide hands on demonstration, modeling, prompting, and instruction in the use of these (and other) skills. Completes all required Services billing documentation in an accurate and timely manner. Submit daily service notes accurately and contemporaneously. Report and document all incidents. Ensures that individuals’ goals are person centered and promote independence, inclusion and/or integration into the community. Transport program participants to and from their houses and activities. Ensure that everyone in the vehicle is wearing their seatbelt. Ensure that the vehicle is maintained clean and in proper working condition. Maintain all transportation records required by the program. Maintain all transportation records required by the program. Inspect the vehicle on a daily basis to ensure that safe to transport staff and program participants. Serve as a liaison between the parents and the program. Other duties may be assigned with or without prior notice.
