Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Follow and administer a comprehensive maintenance program for the school bus fleet. Schedule and coordinate routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs. Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding school bus maintenance and safety. Supervise and train a team of mechanics and maintenance personnel. Assign work orders, set priorities, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion of tasks. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to employees. Monitor compliance with safety regulations and implement corrective actions as necessary. Conduct regular inspections of buses to identify any safety or maintenance concerns. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including work orders, inspections, and maintenance schedules. Troubleshoot and diagnose faults in-vehicle systems. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training preferred.
