Your functions are:
Management of the global sales team of the Business Unit Performance Materials with the aim of generating sustainable and profitable growth
Focus on generating new business and expanding the share of direct customers
Direct management of the regional sales managers
Development and implementation of all operative sales strategies
Steady increase in the efficiency of the sales team
Control and monitoring of forecasts and business development
Close cooperation and coordination with Marketing and Innovation & Application Development
Your qualifications are:
Several years of management experience of a sales team
Relevant professional experience in global B2B sales of chemical specialties requiring explanation
Technical understanding of pharmaceutical or chemical applications
Studies with the following fields of study: chemistry, pharmacy, chemical engineering, materials science, mineralogy, metallurgy, business administration or comparable
Business fluent English skills
Experience in the use of CRM systems like Salesforce
