Blocking & Reporting A User
Blocking a fellow user If you have a bad experience with a particular profile holder, you can block their ability to contact you by Blocking the chat with this user.
To Block a User:
You will be presented with a choice of reasons for blocking them.
- Swipe left on the conversation
- Tap Block.
- Not interested in employer
- Inappropriate content
- Other (please provide additional information)
Remember, that point 2 is a serious accusation, which cannot be abused. Think carefully before choosing Inappropriate content as the reason for blocking a user.
I would like to report an employer
If you come across a suspicious job post or employer, you can help us by Reporting a Problem from the users profile page.
To Report a Problem, open a company's profile or a job details page and scroll down to the bottom of the screen. Tap Report a Problem and choose your grounds for it for the following reasons:
|Job details||Company's Profile|
|Fraud||It violates the Terms|
|Offensive or Inappropriate|
|None of the above (provide your own reason)|
We would also appreciate if you send us an email describing the situation to email@example.com. We will investigate the case and come back to you with the results.
Moreover, if you have been a victim of a cybercrime, we strongly recommend you to report it to Action Fraud, the national fraud reporting centre. You can report the scam through their website or by phone. You can also forward scam emails to them.You will need to provide as much information as possible, for example, any names or other information about the scammer, dates and details about how the money has been lost or how you were threatened.You can find more information about the reporting process.
