I Haven't Heard Back
With JOB TODAY, you will always get a notification whether you have been shortlisted or rejected. If the latter is the case, it's not the time to get upset. There might be several reasons why this happened.

Possible reasons

Your profile is incomplete

When employers review their applicants, the first thing they do is filter out candidates who have not filled out their profiles. The more information you have in your profile, the more chances you have. Don't worry, if you don't have much experience - fill in all the other boxes and create a good Summary section.

Your experience is not relevant

You might want to take a turn in your career path, but employers would prefer a candidate with relevant experience. If you don't have it, explain in your message, why you are a good candidate for this role.

You are too far from the job

The closer you live to your work, the better, isn’t it? That's what employers think, too. They don't want you to spend too much time commuting, and they want you to be easily reachable when they need you. Use the location search for the jobs that are closest to you.

Employer received too many applications

Surely, you can understand - employers are people, too. If they get 100+ applications, they can't possibly reply to all of them in 24 hours. They will review your application, though. If your application expires and they don’t get back to you, don’t despair. There are plenty of jobs to apply for. You will get it!
