Part-time & full-time bar staff wanted for shifts from Monday to Sunday. We are a small but close team and we're looking for a new addition to join our little family. We pride ourselves on being one of the only independent pubs in Soho! It is a small, lively, and fun pub featuring live music and events. There is room for growth within the business if you would like a career in hospitality. Ideal candidates would have at least 1 year bar experience, can pour a great pint of Guinness and would be happy doing a bit of cellar work. The successful candidate will be friendly, personable and passionate about all things food and drink. The Restaurant In partnership with Chef Luke Farrell, Speedboat Bar takes inspiration from the Thai-Chinese restaurants in Bangkok’s Chinatown and the thrilling sport of Speedboat racing along the canals (klongs) of Thailand. The menu explores the ingredients, flavours and techniques that took Luke to Bangkok and its unique foodways; Chinese in origin but now uniquely Thai. A masterclass in wok cooking, roasted meats and spicy sauces, each hinging on the specialist Thai herbs and ingredients cultivated and grown at Luke’s nursery, Ryewater, in Dorset. The bar focuses on sharing Singha beer towers, slushies and chasers; the signature Speedboat cocktails – Snakesblood Negroni; Shop Window Old Fashioned; and Jelly Bia made with frozen Leo Lager; as well as softs such as a Snakefruit soda. The Position The right Bartender will be passionate and knowledgeable about beers, whisky and cocktails, and have a good background in high volume restaurants and bars, whilst delivering exceptional guest experiences with personality and flair. The Successful Bartender will have: Prior experience as a Bartender within a fast paced-quality restaurant or bar; Eagerness to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in; A creative approach with impeccable attention to detail; Passion for beverage, food and hospitality, along with the eagerness to continually learn; The desire to develop your career within an ambitious and trend-setting restaurant group;
