Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 2/3 Childcare Practitioner to join our team. As a Childcare Practitioner, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for children in our care. Your role will involve supervising and engaging with children, implementing age-appropriate activities, and ensuring their well-being. Duties: - Provide attentive and compassionate care to children in our Playgroup - Plan and implement age-appropriate activities, including games, crafts, and educational exercises - Maintain a safe and clean environment for children, adhering to health and safety guidelines - Monitor children's behaviour and ensure their emotional and physical needs are met - Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise - Collaborate with other childcare providers to create a positive and supportive team environment Experience: - Previous experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is preferred - Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English Please note we are a term time only setting and the salary is PRO ROTA - We offer competitive pay rates for this position.
