Internationally Branded 4 Hotel: French Speaking Hr Director.
On behalf of our client we are looking for a French speaking HR Director for a large internationally branded hotel in Paris. In order to apply, you MUST have a hotel experience, speak French and have a local experience and understanding of the law.Please send your CV in English.ResponsibilitiesThis individual will have direct responsibility for areas of Recruiting, Employee Relations, Benefits, Events, Workers Compensation, and other employee-related tasks as well as involvement in all other areas of the hotel.The Director of HR will be responsible for management the day to day relationship with the Unions and the Works Council and negotiating on behalf of the hotel.He/she will be responsible for all the HR related functions like workforce planning, recruitment, staffing strategies, wage and salary administration, associate and labour relations, benefits, workforce training and development etc.The Director of Human Resources will also assist the management in implementing and supervising operational standards and policies.Qualifications3-5 years’ experience as a HR Manager/Director for a large property with more than 150 employees (MANDATORY!)Working knowledge of European and local laws, payroll and employment issues, taxation and other labor law and legislation. Understanding of labor legislation with an emphasis on part-time and overtime regulationsPrevious experience of working with French unions and work councils (MANDATORY!)Large internationally branded hotel experienceHave a strong background in employment, employee relations, benefits, wages and salary, employee training, accident prevention, and government regulations and policiesFrench speaking (MANDATORY!)
