JOB TODAY MENTORING COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. By entering the promotion, entrants confirm that they have read and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and all rules and guidelines applicable to the use of Facebook including the rules located at http://www.facebook.com/terms.php
  1. The promoter of this prize draw is JobToday S.A, 203 Route d’Arlon, Luxembourg, L-1150 (the “Promotor”).
  1. The Promoter is offering those who enter this promotion a chance to win a one-on-one mentoring workshop with Jamal Edwards MBE, in London organised by Job Today and Stellar Public Relations.
  1. This competition is open to residents of the UK aged 16 years and above who are eligible to work and reside within the UK, except employees of JobToday or its subsidiaries and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition.
  1. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter the competition. However, standard mobile data and internet connection charges may apply.
  1. By entering this competition, the entrant is indicating their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  1. Only one entry will be accepted per person and multiple entries from the same Instagram account or related Instagram accounts will be counted as one entry with the first entry being submitted being the entry counted. Where JobToday discovers or has reasonable grounds to suspect that any entrant has used any software or automated process either to enter the competition or to make bulk entries, JobToday may exclude such entries and disqualify the entrant from the competition. Entries submitted on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed. Incomplete, illegible, misdirected or late entries will not be accepted.
  1. The promotion is open to entries from 10.00am on 12 April 2019 until 23.59 on 30 April 2019. After this time no further entries to the competition will be permitted and any entries submitted thereafter will be automatically disqualified.
  1. Five finalists will be selected by JobToday from all valid entries received during the promotional period based on the most interesting and unique entry. A final winner will then be selected by Job Today on Tuesday 7 May.
  1. There is one prize – a mentoring workshop – to be won. This prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable and there is no cash alternative offered.
  1. JobToday accepts no responsibility for entries delayed or not received for whatever reason (including, without limitation, due to any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft, destruction, alteration of or unauthorised access to entries, or entries lost, damaged or delayed as a result of server functions, technical issues, virus, bugs or other causes). Entrants should note that JobToday does not accept responsibility for the safekeeping or return of any entries and entrants should, therefore, ensure they retain a copy of their entry for their own records.
  1. The Promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value. In the event of unforeseen circumstances or circumstances outside its reasonable control, the Promoter reserves the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this promotion without prior notice.
  1. To enter this competition, entrants must:  
    1. Follow @JobToday_UK on Instagram
    2. Share a video or static (image) post on Instagram – between Friday 12 April 10.00am (BST) to 11.59pm Tuesday 30 April (BST) – telling us in 1-minute (video) or in 120 words and a picture (image post) about the following:
      1. What’s your current side hustle or passion project that you want help to get off the ground?
      2. Why would you love a one-on-one session with Jamal?
    3. Tag the campaign hashtag, #WorksForMe
  1. The prize will be a one-on-one workshop session of up to three hours with Jamal Edwards in London taking place in May, 2019. The final date will be decided by JobToday.
  1. The winner will be notified on Instagram within ten working days of the draw via Instagram direct message to the account from which the entry was made and will be asked to provide their full name, address and mobile phone number.
  1. If a winner cannot be contacted or does not provide the personal details set out above within five days of notification or if JobToday is aware or has reasonable grounds to suspect that a winner is not eligible to participate in the competition, JobToday reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
  1. The prize details – including the date, time and location of the mentoring workshop – will be discussed with the eligible winner within 14 days after confirmation of the winner’s personal details have been received and his or her eligibility confirmed.
  1. Unless the winner notifies us otherwise in writing within 1 week of being informed that he/she has won, the Promoter reserves the right to use and feature the names of the JobToday #WorksForMe social competition winner for publicity purposes and the winner agree that they will participate in any reasonable publicity arranged by the Promoter or its agencies.
  1. Winners may be required to submit valid identification before receiving the prize.
  1. All copyright in the entries is the property of the Promoter. The Promoter reserves the right to use any entries for such purposes and no additional payment will be made for using entries in this way.
  1. All personal data provided by entrants will be treated in accordance with all applicable data protection laws and regulations and JobToday’s privacy policy (see: jobtoday.com/en/privacy) and will be used exclusively for the purpose of executing the competition. All data provided on  entry or by a winner of the competition will be kept confidential and not transferred to any third party without the consent of the entrant.
  1. JobToday’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition winner will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  1. JobToday reserves the right to change, amend, modify, suspend or terminate this competition at any time without notice: (i) in the event of any unforeseen circumstances or technical issues outside its reasonable control; (ii) to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and guidance; or (iii) to ensure that the competition is run in a fair manner, in each case with no liability to entrants or third parties. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by JobToday on the website at jobtoday.com/worksforme
  1. By participating in the competition, each entrant warrants that: (i) all information submitted by them is true, current and complete;(ii) any information submitted by them is personal to and relate specifically to them; (iii) their entry and all information which they submit and/or distribute will not infringe the intellectual property, privacy or any other rights of any third part,  and will not contain anything which is libelous, defamatory, obscene, indecent, harassing or threatening; and (iv) they have permission to use or feature any people, content or other material contained within their entry. JobToday reserves the right to screen, filter and/or monitor entries for this purpose.
  1. JobToday does not accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrant entering the competition or as a result of accepting any prize. JobToday is not responsible for any technical issues in relation to any telecommunications or internet network (including in relation to speed or bandwidth), including any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s device related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in the competition. Nothing in these terms and conditions shall exclude JobToday’s liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence.
  1. JobToday reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all entrants and disqualify an entrant for submitting false information or for having breached these terms and conditions.
  1. All taxes, costs and other expenses incurred by an entrant in relation to the competition are the sole responsibility of that entrant.
  1. You agree to be bound by the decisions of the Promoter, which are final in all matters relating to the promotion. No correspondence will be entered into in respect of the Promoter’s decisions.
  1. The competition and these terms and conditions are governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
