As a bartender you will be part of a small bar team in one of the most beautiful venues in the city. What you will be doing: Our Handyman or Maintenance Technician at Badiani plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our gelato stores by managing maintenance tasks and promptly addressing equipment issues. This position requires a versatile individual who can effectively handle both maintenance responsibilities and on-site repairs across multiple locations. Key Responsibilities: - Maintenance Management Develop and execute a comprehensive maintenance schedule for all Badiani locations to ensure optimal functionality of equipment and facilities. Conduct regular inspections of equipment, machinery, and facilities to identify any maintenance needs or safety concerns. Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialised repairs or maintenance services when necessary. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and service contracts - On-site Repairs Respond promptly to maintenance requests from store managers or staff to address equipment malfunctions or breakdowns. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, or plumbing issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency. Perform routine repairs and preventive maintenance tasks on coffee machines, refrigeration units, and other equipment as needed. Troubleshoot equipment problems and provide technical support to store personnel as required. - Inventory Management Monitor inventory levels of spare parts, tools, and supplies necessary for maintenance and repairs. - Health & Safety Compliance Adhere to all health and safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment for employees and customers. Conduct regular safety inspections and implement corrective actions to address any identified hazards or compliance issues. Ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out following industry standards. Key Requirements: Proven experience in maintenance and repair work, preferably in a hospitality or retail environment. Strong technical skills in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced, multi-location setting. Excellent problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to resolving issues. Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with store teams and external vendors. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or on-call as needed for emergency repairs or scheduled maintenance. Good skills in using email systems for communication and coordination with team members, store managers, and external vendors. Good skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and inventory management tasks. Part-time & full-time bar staff wanted for shifts from Monday to Sunday. We are a small but close team and we're looking for a new addition to join our little family. We pride ourselves on being one of the only independent pubs in Soho! It is a small, lively, and fun pub featuring live music and events. There is room for growth within the business if you would like a career in hospitality. Ideal candidates would have at least 1 year bar experience, can pour a great pint of Guinness and would be happy doing a bit of cellar work.
