Keep the pot wash clear during busy periods Follow the cleaning rota to complete deep cleans Help the chefs with food prep during down times Support packaging take away orders Clean and close down the kitchen at the end of every service. Support each other to deliver a great service Ensure the restaurant is clean and tidy at all times. Follow all health and hygiene processes. Complete necessary checks including, cleaning schedule, stock lists, prep lists, temperature checks. Efficient use of time, during down periods keeping busy to improve kitchen life. Notify the kitchen manager or supervisor when supplies need to be replenished. 6. Compliance with Health and Safety Standards: Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper handling of hazardous materials, use of protective equipment, and safe operation of kitchen machinery. 7. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff members to ensure smooth workflow and efficient operation of the kitchen. Communicate effectively with team members and follow instructions from supervisors. Qualifications: - Prior experience in a similar role preferred but not required. - Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices. - Ability to follow instructions and work well in a fast-paced environment. - Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects. - Good communication skills and a positive attitude. - Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities. Working Conditions: - Kitchen environment with exposure to heat, steam, and loud noises. - Requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift. - May involve working weekends, and holidays as needed.
