Head of Finance | High-Growth Technology Consultancy | Remote-First (London Preferred) The Client Harmonic is partnering exclusively with a high-growth technology consultancy that has scaled rapidly to c.£25m in revenue and is targeting 50%+ year-on-year growth. The business has built a strong reputation in its market, delivering technology-led consulting services to a blue-chip client base, and is now at an inflection point. Until now, the finance function has been largely outsourced. With the business at this scale and trajectory, the company is bringing finance fully in-house and investing in the people, processes, and infrastructure needed to support the next stage of growth. There is a clear ambition toward a significant liquidity event in the medium term, and finance will be central to making that happen. This is a genuine builder role - not a caretaker position. You will be creating the finance function from first principles, with real ownership, direct exposure to strategic milestones, and the backing to build a team around you as the business scales. The Role Reporting to the CFO, this is a broad, high-impact Head of Finance role spanning financial accounting, management reporting, FP&A, treasury, and wider finance transformation. You will be the most senior hands-on finance hire in the business, responsible for insourcing the finance function, building processes and controls from the ground up, and creating the reporting and commercial insight the leadership team needs to make informed decisions. Beyond the core finance remit, you will partner closely with the CFO on strategic priorities including lender reporting, cashflow management, and preparations for future financing and exit activity. There is a clear pathway to building out a finance team beneath you as the business continues to grow. This is suited to someone who has done this before - or is ready to. If you thrive on building structure where there is none, want first-hand exposure to a meaningful exit process, and are motivated by ownership over maintenance, this is worth a serious look.
