Accounts Senior – Full-Time Leigh-on-Sea | 5 Days On-Site | Permanent £36,000 – £42,000 (Negotiable Depending on Experience) About Us We are a well-established, two-partner accountancy practice based in Leigh-on-Sea. Our firm supports a diverse portfolio of small businesses with tailored financial services. The Role This is a hands-on, client-facing position ideal for a well-rounded accountant with public practice experience. You’ll be a key contributor to the day-to-day operations, supporting everything from year-end accounts to VAT and payroll, while working closely with both partners. The role requires someone who’s proactive, flexible, and capable of managing a broad set of responsibilities across different areas of the practice. Key Responsibilities: · Prepare year-end accounts for a range of clients · General accounts preparation and tax computations · Liaise directly with clients · Bookkeeping, payroll, and VAT tasks · Contribute across the firm as needed What We’re Looking For Essential: · Qualified (or QBE) with strong public practice experience · Adaptable and comfortable with varied tasks · Proficient in Microsoft Office · Confident communicating with clients Beneficial: · Experience using accounts production and bookkeeping software What We Offer · Competitive salary · Clear progression path within the firm · Supportive, close-knit team environment · On-site, Monday to Friday
