  We are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician to join a busy production facility. This is a hands-on role focused on minimising downtime, improving reliability, and ensuring machinery operates safely and efficiently. This is a permanent nightshift position 4 on 4 off. You’ll play a key role in maintaining production equipment, responding to breakdowns, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site. Key Responsibilities • Respond quickly and effectively to mechanical and electrical breakdowns, • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), • Diagnose faults on production machinery and implement permanent fixes, • Work on motors, drives, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, sensors and control systems, • Support installation and commissioning of new equipment, • Ensure all work is carried out in line with health & safety standards, • Contribute to continuous improvement and reliability projects About You • Multi-skilled with both mechanical and electrical competence, • Experience working within a manufacturing or production environment, • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills, • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and electrical schematics, • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team, • Proactive, reliable, and safety-focused Qualifications • NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Engineering (or equivalent), • 17th/18th Edition (if electrically biased), • Apprenticeship trained Benefits: • Attractive 4 on 4 off shift pattern, • Excellent salary 53k-60k, • Overtime Available, • Excellent pension, • Annual Bonus, • Private Healthcare, • Training and development opportunities, • Stable, long-term opportunity within a growing business

Performing manual assembly of critical components on a defined production line. Inspecting finished goods in line with approved customer specifications. Accurately detailing and recording critical cGMP data in the batch record. Requirements: We are looking for candidates who: Are capable of working safely in a clean room environment. Can read and accurately follow Batch Record Sheets and Standard Operating Procedures. Preferably have GMP and manufacturing assembly experience.
