Chelmsford Dance Centre is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Trainee Ballroom & Latin Teacher to join our friendly team. We are looking for someone who is already dancing to at least Silver/Gold standard in both Ballroom and Latin, with a genuine passion for dance and a desire to develop their skills as a teacher. Formal teaching qualifications are not required — full training and support will be provided to the right person. The role will involve assisting with and gradually taking responsibility for Ballroom and Latin classes, private lessons and other dance activities, working with dancers of different ages and abilities. You will have the opportunity to learn how to structure and deliver lessons, demonstrate technique, work with students and develop your confidence as a teacher. We are looking for someone who: • Has reached at least Silver/Gold standard in both Ballroom and Latin, • Has a good understanding of dance technique and timing, • Is enthusiastic, friendly and approachable, • Is confident demonstrating steps and dancing with students, • Is reliable, professional and keen to learn, • Enjoys working with people and helping others improve, • Is passionate about Ballroom and Latin dancing, • Teaching experience or qualifications are an advantage, but not essential This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced dancer who would like to take the next step into teaching. Training will be tailored to the successful applicant, with ongoing guidance and support as you develop your teaching skills. The position may suit a competitive dancer, experienced social dancer, assistant, or someone looking to build a career in dance teaching. Location: Chelmsford Dance Centre, Great Baddow, Chelmsford.
