Duties • Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring they feel welcomed., • Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings., • Take accurate orders and relay them to the kitchen staff efficiently., • Upsell menu items by suggesting additional dishes or drinks to enhance the dining experience., • Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while checking on guests’ satisfaction throughout their meal., • Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety standards., • Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and serving stations., • Handle guest inquiries or complaints with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring a positive resolution., • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and effective communication during busy periods. Skills • Strong knowledge of hospitality principles and guest services., • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests., • Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately., • Experience in upselling techniques to enhance sales opportunities., • Familiarity with culinary practices and food safety regulations is advantageous., • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced pub environment while maintaining attention to detail., • Team player mentality with a willingness to help colleagues when needed.
