Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide essential support to individuals in their homes ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role offers an opportunity to make a positive difference in people's lives by delivering personalised care tailored to each individual's needs. The Care Assistant will work closely with healthcare professionals and family members to uphold high standards of care and support. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility Support clients in maintaining their independence and dignity Follow individualised care plans to deliver tailored care and support Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals (if qualified) Record and report any changes in clients’ health or behaviour Maintain accurate documentation of care provided using IT systems Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure consistent care delivery Assist with light domestic tasks including meal preparation and light cleaning where appropriate Drive clients to appointments or social activities if required and authorised to do so Requirements Previous experience working in a care sector or care is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided Valid driving licence is preferred for roles involving client transportation Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to show empathy, patience, and understanding Ability to work independently as well as part of a team A caring attitude with a genuine desire to support others' wellbeing Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Zero hours contract Benefits: Flexitime Work Location: In person
