Estimator – Residential Developments Location: Office-based in Rugby with some flexibility Salary: £75,000 basic + car allowance + bonus We’re recruiting for an experienced Estimator to join a growing housebuilder. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working on varied residential projects and wants to play a key role in shaping the success of future developments. The Role As Estimator, you’ll be responsible for producing accurate appraisals and pricing across a range of housing schemes. You’ll work closely with land and commercial teams, managing cost databases and ensuring competitive and compliant tenders. The role includes everything from site visits and supply chain liaison through to preparing financial models and supporting value engineering discussions. Key Responsibilities • Preparing land and development appraisals, • Internal take-offs and BOQ production, • Developing measurement and pricing strategies, • Liaising with supply chain partners and buyers, • Reviewing planning requirements and assessing financial implications, • Supporting pre-construction and commercial teams with accurate costings, • Updating financial appraisals throughout key development stages What We’re Looking For • Previous experience within housebuilding or construction estimating, • Strong IT skills; ideally with exposure to COINS or Bluebeam (not essential), • Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and maintain accuracy under pressure, • A positive, team-focused approach with strong communication skills, • Full UK driving licence Desirable (but not essential) • Knowledge of roads, sewers, and wider infrastructure, • Experience with COINS land module software, • Familiarity with Bluebeam measurement software Please apply below and a consultant will reach out with more information.
