Company Description My Business Deals is an independent, whole-of-market comparison service that helps UK businesses stop overpaying on essential services — energy, insurance, waste management, water and broadband. We benchmark over 30 UK suppliers to find genuinely competitive rates, then manage the entire switching process so the client doesn't deal with the paperwork. There's no cost to compare and no obligation to switch. We work with organisations of every size and sector, from single-site retailers to multi-site operators, offices and warehouses. Role Description This is a self-employed, commission-only role. There is no basic salary, no retainer and no expense allowance. You earn 50% of the net commission on every deal you bring in, uncapped. Read that first — if it isn't for you, the rest won't change your mind. The average completed contract earns the business around £1,200, so a typical deal pays you around £600. Our highest earners are currently on £7,000–£10,000 a month; that's the top of the board, not the average, and most people's first month is a deal or two. The role combines field sales with remote lead generation, and you can weight it whichever way suits you. You'll identify and approach UK businesses in person and by phone, build relationships across sectors, and explain how the comparison service reduces their costs. You'll qualify prospects, gather their current contract details for accurate benchmarking, present the recommended deal in plain language, and work with the internal team to get the switch through cleanly. You won't be sourcing or buying your own leads. We provide freshly validated UK business data — deduped and number-checked before it reaches you — loaded into our CRM and dialler system, along with the full supplier panel, all contract and Letter of Authority paperwork, and complete visibility of every rate and commission figure on your own deals. Lead generation is the way in, not the ceiling. Prove you can hold a conversation with a business owner and the route into closing your own deals is open, on the same 50% split. You set your own hours and, for field work, your own territory. Commission is paid on a monthly statement once the supplier commission clears — weeks rather than days — and is subject to clawback if the customer cancels. You'll be engaged as a self-employed contractor and are responsible for your own tax and National Insurance.
