Job Overview Medical Negligence Solicitor Satchell Moran Solicitors – Wavertree, Liverpool Salary: Circa £60,000-£70,000.00 OTE (depending on experience) Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Overview Due to continued growth, Satchell Moran Solicitors is seeking an experienced Medical Negligence Solicitor to join our expanding department. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional looking to manage high-quality, varied work in a supportive and progressive environment. Key Responsibilities • Manage a caseload of Medical Negligence cases from inception to settlement or trial, • Undertake investigations, obtain expert evidence, draft pleadings, and handle litigation, • Vet and risk-assess new cases and enquiries, • Liaise with clients, experts, and external stakeholders, • Work proactively to meet deadlines and targets, • Contribute to the growth and development of the department Requirements • Minimum 5 years’ experience handling Medical Negligence claims (including litigated matters), • Strong billing history, • Proficient in Proclaim Case Management, • Excellent communication, organisation, and client-care skills, • Advocacy experience beneficial but not essential What We Offer • Competitive salary circa £60,000-£70,000.00 OTE, • Clear opportunities for career progression, • Supportive team culture and investment in professional development, • A culture that values teamwork, innovation, and excellence Benefits include: • 22 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays, • Flexible, modern working environment including flexi-time with the ability to accrue 12 additional holidays;, • Paid Christmas shut down period in addition to annual leave entitlement;, • Annual Christmas Party and other social events;, • Free onsite parking.
