Our client, a Merseyside council is seeking a Children’s Social Worker to join their Fostering Team. \n Fantastic payrate of £40 per hour! \n Are you a Children's Social Worker, passionate about making a difference in your community? Do not miss out on this fantastic opportunity! \n Responsibilities of this role: \n\n • Complete a range of fostering assessments including Connected Carer assessments (Form K), Mainstream Fostering assessments (Form F), Regulation 24 assessments, viabilities, and initial visits, ensuring all work is completed to statutory timescales.\n, • Carry out high-quality evidence-based assessments that analyse suitability, safeguarding considerations, support needs, and the capacity of carers to meet children’s needs.\n, • Participate in the fostering service duty rota, responding to queries, providing advice, and supporting effective day-to-day service delivery.\n, • Contribute to mainstream fostering recruitment activity, including initial engagement, information-sharing, and supporting prospective carers through early stages of the process when required.\n, • Work collaboratively with colleagues, partner agencies, and fostering households to promote high-quality care, safeguarding practice, and positive outcomes for children.\n, • Maintain accurate, timely case records, reports, and assessment documents in line with statutory guidance, fostering regulations, and service procedures.\n, • Support the ongoing development of the fostering service by contributing to team discussions, quality assurance activity, and continuous improvement initiatives.\n\n Requirements of this role: \n\n • Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.\n, • Must have minimum of 3 year's experience working as a Qualified social worker\n\n Benefits of working through Reed, include: \n\n • Dedicated Recruitment Consultant.\n, • Aftercare service delivered by Candidate Care Team.\n, • Free CV building and Interview support.\n, • Free DBS checks.\n, • Weekly payroll.\n, • PAYE payroll option with additional benefits including holiday pay, healthcare, pension plus more.\n, • CPD contributions.\n, • Access to full UK jobs market with top tier status across many public and private sector clients.\n, • Supporting the Reed Foundation which has given £9.5m to charity since 2010.\n\n Does this role interest you?
