Job Title: Skilled General Builder / Carpenter (Private Developer) Location: Based in Stadhampton, Oxfordshire (and surrounding local sites) Job Type: Full-time / Subcontractor / CIS Day Rate: £230 - £250 per day / Negotiable based on experience Standard Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday. Overtime: Abundant overtime and weekend work available for high earners looking to maximize their hours. About Us: We are a private property development company managing our own exclusive portfolio of high-specification projects across South Oxfordshire. We do not work for external clients. This means you get a steady, guaranteed pipeline of work without the typical stress, delays, or micromanagement of domestic contracting. The Portfolio: Our upcoming and ongoing pipeline includes a diverse mix of: • High-spec New Builds, • Character Barn Conversions, • Full Property Refurbishments & High-End Extensions The Role: We are looking for a multi-skilled, hands-on General Builder and Carpenter to join our core team. You will be a key player on site, moving smoothly between structural work and high-quality finishes.Key Responsibilities: • First and second-fix carpentry (roof framing, joists, stud work, hanging doors, skirting, and kitchen fitting)., • General building tasks across all phases of extensions, barn conversions, and new builds., • Assisting with structural alterations, strip-outs, and groundworks prep where required., • Working independently from drawings and collaborating directly with the project manager. Requirements: • Proven, solid experience in both carpentry and general building., • Experience working on older character properties (barns/refurbs) as well as modern new builds., • Must have your own professional hand/power tools and reliable transport to Stadhampton., • A strong work ethic, high standards of finish, and a reliable track record.
