Job Summary: Nurse atHome is seeking compassionate and reliable Care Assistants / Support Workers to join our growing team. This role involves providing high-quality, person-centred care to clients in their own homes, supporting them to live independently and with dignity. Key Responsibilities: As a Care Assistant, your duties will include; • Assisting clients with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting, grooming), • Supporting clients with daily living activities and maintaining independence, • Preparing meals and assisting with feeding and nutrition, • Providing companionship and emotional support, • Assisting with mobility, transfers, and repositioning, • Performing light household duties (cleaning, laundry, shopping), • Monitoring and reporting changes in clients’ health and wellbeing, • Supporting clients to attend appointments or social activities, • Following care plans and maintaining accurate records Requirements: We are looking for candidates who are; • Caring, compassionate, and patient, • Driving licence and access to a vehicle, • Reliable and trustworthy, • Able to work independently and as part of a team, • Good communication skills (spoken and written English), • Flexible with working hours Desirable (not essential): • Previous experience in care or support work, • NVQ Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) Full training can be provided for the right candidate.
