Job Summary: As a waiter/waitress at Minglong restaurant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to provide efficient and courteous service to all patrons, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and attending to any special requests or needs. You will work closely with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders. Additionally, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area is essential to uphold our high standards of service. Key Responsibilities: 1. Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables. 2. Present menus, make recommendations, and take accurate food and beverage orders. 3. Relay orders to the kitchen and ensure timely delivery of meals to customers. 4. Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction and promptly address any concerns or requests. 5. Upsell menu items and promote special promotions or events. 6. Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. 7. Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently. 8. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the dining area, including resetting tables and restocking supplies. 9. Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow. 10. Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations. 11. Assist in opening and closing duties as required. Qualifications: - Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. - Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. - Strong customer service orientation with a positive attitude. - Attention to detail and accuracy in order taking and serving. - Basic math skills for handling transactions. - Knowledge of food and beverage pairings and menu items (training provided). - Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
