What we are looking for… - Someone who is motivated, adaptable and organised with exceptional interpersonal skills. - 1 years’ relevant hospitality experience - busy/independent restaurants or takeaway. - Someone who has previous experience key holding and cashing up. - Ideally an individual who has experience working with deliveries and dealing with phone orders. - Someone who has Level 2 Food Hygiene and Safety or knowledge of this is highly advantageous. About Lane Eight Coffee: We offer high-end coffee in a tranquil space - our aim is to give people a moment of calm away from busy life in the city. The Role: - We serve a simple espresso menu alongside a rotating batch brew (recent guest features include Cloud Picker, Fortitude and April). - Our espresso is a seasonal exclusive coffee roasted by Red Bank Coffee in the Lake District. - Flexible shift patterns - Weekends & Weekdays - Starting at £14/hr (Barista) / £15/hr (Assistant Manager) - We use a LM KB90 ABV and Mahlkonig E80 so experience with these is preferable but not essential. - We are open 7 days a week and our opening hours from when you start will be 7am-3pm Mon-Fri, 8am-4pm Sat & Sun - Assistant Manager duties include: primarily ensuring the team is motivated and feels supported; supporting the manager with shift scheduling, ordering supplies and team communications. About You: - Experience in specialty coffee is a must have - If you’re reliable, friendly and keen to continue growing and learning you will fit right in here - Both roles are predominantly on-shift roles, so we are looking for people who are keen to get to know our customers and become part of the local community.
