Your day to day Role KPIS Net Promoter Score Space Audit- ensuring exceptional operational standards in our buildings Enabling member connections Create an amazing experience for our members, guests and partners - Ensure the space runs smoothly and is fully operational - Answering general phone & member enquiries - Monitor supplies, including office materials, cleaning equipment and member supplies - Assist the Membership Manager with events, from concept development, communication to hosting events Create a collaborative community - internally and externally - Build connections for our members through events, introductions and networking - Develop Work Life’s presence with the wider creative community in London: we want you to be an ambassador for what we do and what we believe in! Key Responsibilities: Procurement: Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure the procurement of high-quality medical supplies at competitive prices. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and specifications. Implement and maintain procurement policies and procedures. Vendor Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with medical supply vendors. Evaluate vendor performance, addressing issues and ensuring adherence to quality standards. Stay informed about market trends, new products, and industry best practices. Shipping and Logistics: Coordinate and manage the shipping of medical supplies, ensuring timely and secure delivery. Collaborate with shipping carriers and logistics partners to optimize transportation routes and costs. Track shipments and communicate delivery updates to relevant stakeholders. Inventory Management: Implement and maintain an effective inventory tracking system for medical supplies. Conduct regular audits to reconcile physical inventory with records. Monitor stock levels and coordinate reorder processes to prevent shortages. Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, shipments, and inventory transactions. Prepare and process purchase orders, invoices, and shipping documents. Generate reports on procurement and inventory metrics for management review. Compliance and Regulations: Stay informed about and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards for medical supplies procurement and shipping. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field. Proven experience in procurement and shipping roles, preferably within the medical supplies industry. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Familiarity with procurement software and inventory management systems. Knowledge of shipping regulations and logistics coordination. An opportunity for a reliable and organised administrative support worker to assist a physically disabled staff member at a London University for up to 31.5 hours a week (flexibility can be discussed). The post will typically be split between a half day of virtual working on Mondays and three in person work days, either on campus or doing site visits. Flexibility is required as some weeks in person support will be required more or less than others. Locations include Hammersmith, Kensington and Northwest London. The job requires you to work by yourself to maintain the cleanliness and safety of an industrial estate in Kentish Town. This includes cleaning rubbish from the pavement and road, cutting the grass, emptying bins and making sure the estate is safe for owners, tenants and the public that use the road, pavement and parking spaces. As mentioned on the brief, there is a driving element to the job. Drivers need to be 30 years old and over to be insured on the cars we own. We will need to know how long you've had your driver's licence for and if you've had any driving bans or endorsements in the past.
