  Mechanical Estimator – £350–£400/day | Rayleigh, Essex | Full-Time Contract We’re looking to bring in a Mechanical Estimator to support a growing pipeline of rail and infrastructure projects for one of our clients. This is a full-time contract role where you’ll be responsible for pricing mechanical packages from design stage through to tender submission. This isn’t a role where you’re just handed numbers to plug in, you’ll be expected to: • Produce accurate take-offs directly from drawings, • Build detailed bills of quantities, • Interpret specifications, ITTs, and technical documentation, • Consider installation, sequencing, and programme, • Engage with subcontractors for pricing and input You’ll work closely with a hands-on Director and operational team, who will support on labour allowances and buildability — so you’re not working in isolation.
