Managing general upkeep, maintenance, and security of properties to ensure they meet health and safety standards and legal requirements. Overseeing support services such as catering, IT, utilities, and the physical environment. Discussing clients' requirements and advising on property and land purchases for investment and other purposes. Conducting or arranging structural surveys and valuations of properties or agricultural land, and handling grant and subsidy applications. Negotiating property purchases, sales, leases, and tenancy agreements, and arranging legal formalities with solicitors, building societies, and other parties. Maintaining or arranging for the maintenance of estate accounts and records and producing financial forecasts. Acting as an arbiter in disputes between landlords and tenants, ensuring both parties fulfill their legal obligations. Examining and assessing housing applications, advising on rent levels, investigating complaints, and liaising with tenants' associations and social workers to resolve issues.
