Remuneration will depend on previous experience, qualifications and capability. The role will support administration for the company and will include general office duties. This is an office based role, we are not able to offer working from home flexibilities. The role will include various administration duties but with the aim to develop and have more responsibility. The role will include some of the following areas; • Answering the telephone in a professional manner and dealing with enquiries, • Liaising in a professional manner, with clients and internal colleagues, • File management, retrieving information and collating data, • Working well under pressure, • Inputting data onto internal systems with a high level of accuracy., • Assisting all members of the team as and when required, • General administrative duties including typing correspondence by e-mail and letter, • To undertake clerical duties including filing, scanning, record keeping, photocopying and distribution of relevant documents., • Knowledge of using Microsoft Office Software Packages – Word and Excel., • To deal courteously and efficiently with all visitors., • Providing refreshments for visitors when required, • Maintain a tidy working environment., • Dealing with stationary/stock levels and re-ordering as and when appropriate, • Ad hoc personal assistant duties for business owner and family The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated which are relevant to your post within the company to meet the overall business objectives. Skills Required • Willing to work effectively in the team, • The successful candidate will be organised., • Good numeracy skills., • Required to work to deadlines, with good time management., • Must have a good level of written skills., • Must have a clear and professional telephone manner., • Administration experience would be advantageous., • Somebody who is an excellent verbal communicator., • Willing to learn and be quick thinking., • An enthusiastic individual who would enjoy working in a fast-paced environment., • Must be polite and friendly, • Must be punctual as well as having a good attendance record, • Ability to work on own initiative, • Ability to work effectively as both part of a team and as an individual,, • Ability to work flexibly and respond positively to the demands of a varied workload., • Friendly and approachable, • Commitment to listen and learn, • Must be able to follow instructions, • Undertake continued training and development, • Resilient, Positive, capable and motivated Grade 5 (grade C) or above in Maths and English or equivalent would be preferred but each person will be considered on their individual merits and this will inform the hourly wage. Temporary cover position available in the short term with the view to offer a permanent position for the correct candidate. To be discussed in interview stage if requested.
