\n • Job Type: Full-time, temporary with the potential to become permanent\n, • Pay: £12.71 per hour\n, • Location: SS2\n, • Working Hours: 07:00 to 16:00 - Monday to Friday\n\n Join a long-standing manufacturing and production business with an excellent reputation. This Warehouse Operative opportunity is ideal for someone who is organised, self-motivated, and confident working both independently and as part of a wider team. The Warehouse Operative will support goods in and goods out activity while helping to keep warehouse and production operations running smoothly. \n Day-to-day of the role \n\n • Unload deliveries and sort them into racks by job number.\n, • Check incoming deliveries against delivery notes to ensure accuracy.\n, • Book each delivery job onto an Excel spreadsheet.\n, • Prepare and help load the next day’s deliveries for drivers.\n, • Send internal and external emails where there are issues or discrepancies with deliveries.\n, • Keep the yard area clean, safe, and tidy at all times.\n, • Support the production department when required by moving product between departments.\n, • Carry out duties accurately and efficiently with minimal supervision.\n, • Assist with some heavy lifting, with support provided where needed.\n\n Required Skills & Qualifications \n\n • Previous warehouse, goods in, goods out, or manufacturing experience would be beneficial.\n, • Ability to work unsupervised and manage workload effectively.\n, • Good accuracy and attention to detail when checking and booking deliveries.\n, • Basic Excel and Outlook skills.\n, • Confidence writing clear and professional emails.\n, • Good verbal communication skills.\n, • Ability to lift heavy items with assistance when required.\n, • A reliable and proactive approach to work.\n\n Benefits \n\n • Full-time hours with a consistent day shift pattern.\n, • Temporary role with the potential to become permanent.\n, • Opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing and production environment.\n, • Work within a varied Warehouse Operative position that supports both warehouse and production teams.\n\n How to apply \n To apply for this Warehouse Operative position, please submit your CV and cover letter outlining your relevant experience and suitability for the role. \n
