Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and passionate Commis Chef to join our kitchen team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their culinary skills in a supportive and dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, a willingness to learn, and a positive attitude. £21,000 - £24,000, plus approx £6000 tips & Christmas bonus. Responsibilities: - Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items under the supervision of the Head Chef. - Assist and run both starter and dessert sections. - Staying on top of the pot wash. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen. - Follow food safety standards and guidelines. - Contribute ideas for menu development and daily specials. - Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service. Requirements: - Previous experience working in a kitchen environment preferred but not essential. - A passion for food and a desire to learn and develop culinary skills. - Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. - Strong communication and teamwork skills. - Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
