CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrist – Specialist Eating Disorder Service 10 PAs | Permanent | Aldrington House, Hove Enhanced Recruitment and Retention Package (£45,000 over 3 years) Closing date: 3 December 2025 Shape the future of specialist eating disorder care for young people in Sussex. We’re recruiting a CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Sussex-wide Children and Young People’s (ChYPS) Family Eating Disorder Service — a highly skilled, values-led multidisciplinary team delivering evidence-based care for young people 10 to 18. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a clinically rich role within an established, supportive service, with the scope to influence pathways, champion clinical quality and help strengthen specialist provision across the county. What the role involves • Leading high-quality psychiatric assessments, formulation and treatment planning, • Working closely with nurses, systemic family therapists, child psychotherapists and medical colleagues, • Delivering NICE-concordant, evidence-based interventions across a range of settings, • Providing clinical leadership within a cohesive MDT with strong links across ChYPS, • Contributing to service development, clinical governance and quality improvement, • Supporting participation work with young people and families, • Being part of a strong consultant network across Sussex Partnership Recruitment & Retention Package (£45,000) Structured over three years: • £15,000 on appointment, • £10,000 at 12 months, • £10,000 at 24 months, • £10,000 at 36 months Pro rata for part-time roles.
