You will care for them as if they were your own family; with respect and dignity, and ensure that their physical and emotional needs are recognised and met with warmth and affection. You will be supported to fulfil your training so that you are always up to date with the latest guidance; giving you confidence to know that you are caring for people, according to best practice and to the best of your ability. In an ideal world, you will have an NVQ2 or above in Health and Social Care, experience of working with vulnerable people and an understanding of Dementia, however for the right kind of person we could support you to achieve this.
