We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as a Support Worker. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive practical and emotional support to young people aged 16-18, helping them transition successfully into independent living. Key Responsibilities will include: • Assisting young people in developing essential life skills such as budgeting, cooking, cleaning, and managing personal appointments., • Providing guidance and encouragement related to education, training, and employment opportunities., • Advocating for the young people's needs and liaising effectively with external agencies and stakeholders., • Working collaboratively to implement individual support plans, ensuring a safe, stable, and nurturing environment., • Offering emotional support and fostering resilience in young people, promoting their overall well-being and personal growth., • Maintaining accurate records and reports as required. The ideal candidate will demonstrate empathy, strong communication skills, and a commitment to empowering young people. Previous experience in a similar support role, particularly with adolescents, would be highly beneficial. NVQ level 2 in Health and Social care desirable
