About Technical Ways Technical Ways is a UK IT services company providing managed IT support, cyber security, cloud and Microsoft 365, and software and web development for small and growing businesses. We're a small, hands-on team that takes ownership of our clients' technology, and we're growing. What you'll do • Plan and execute manual and exploratory testing for web and mobile releases, • Build and maintain end-to-end tests with Playwright or Cypress, • Write API tests and integrate test suites into CI pipelines, • Report, triage and verify defects with developers, • Contribute to acceptance criteria and release checklists What you'll bring • 2+ years in software QA or test engineering, • Hands-on test automation in JavaScript/TypeScript or Python, • Understanding of HTTP, REST APIs and browser dev tools, • Clear, structured written communication, • Right to work in the UK Nice to have • Accessibility and performance testing, • ISTQB Foundation or equivalent, • Mobile testing on iOS and Android What we offer • £38,000 – £50,000 per year, depending on experience, • Hybrid and remote working, • Training and certification budget relevant to your role, • Real ownership of client work in a small, senior team
