☕ Experienced Barista – Full Time (FreshX Bakery & Coffee Shop, Slough) Location: Slough, Berkshire Hours: Full-time, 7 AM – 7 PM (rotating shifts) Pay: Competitive hourly rate (in line with UK National Wage & experience level) Start Date: Immediate About Us At FreshX, we’re a new bakery and coffee shop focused on fresh, high-quality products and exceptional service. The Role We’re looking for experienced baristas who are passionate about coffee and customer service. You’ll be preparing espresso-based drinks, maintaining cleanliness and quality, and helping our team deliver an outstanding café experience. Responsibilities Prepare espresso, cappuccino, latte, and other specialty drinks to a high standard Maintain coffee equipment and ensure daily calibration and cleaning Assist with bakery counter service and take customer orders Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Contribute to a positive team atmosphere Requirements Previous barista experience (minimum 1 year preferred) Excellent communication and customer service skills Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic Able to work a 7 AM–7 PM full-time schedule (with breaks) Knowledge of grinder calibration, milk texturing, and latte art is a plus Perks Competitive pay (meets/exceeds UK national living wage) Meals and coffee perks during shifts Friendly, supportive team environment Opportunities for growth as the café expands
