We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team at a Subway franchise. As a Sandwich Artist, you will be responsible for preparing and serving sandwiches, salads, and other menu items based on customer orders. Your duties include greeting customers, taking accurate orders, and ensuring food safety guidelines are strictly followed. This includes preparing and labeling ingredients correctly, maintaining freshness, and adhering to proper storage procedures. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace, processing payments, restocking supplies, and ensuring inventory levels are managed efficiently. Excellent customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this role.

1.Prepare and cook a range of Indian dishes ( more specifically South Indian ) as set out in the restaruent menu 2.Prepare delicious, hygienic and healthy food according to the business principles 3.Introduce an existing dish of the month at the beginning of every month to keep customers interested 4.To make sure the food supply is sourced properly and used resourcefully 5.Ensure that food items are rotated properly in fridge and FIFO is followed as per HACCP guidelines and make sure it is strictly followed. 6.Help business manager to achieve the restaurants budgeted food costs 7.Carry out month end food stock taking 8.Manage day to day- ordering of food for a section in line with the UK purchasing guidelines. 9.Ensure food prepared is of highest possible standards 10.Controlling portion sizes in accordance with food specifications.

Maintaining Cleanliness: Ensure that tables, dining areas, and service stations are clean and well-organized. Processing Payments: Handle cash and credit transactions, provide receipts, and give correct change. Collaborating with Kitchen & Staff: Communicate with the kitchen staff regarding order details and any special requests from customers. Ensuring Customer Satisfaction: Check on customers during meals to ensure they are satisfied with their food and service. Managing Multiple Tables: Serve multiple tables efficiently while providing excellent customer service. Handling Complaints: Address any customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and escalate when necessary.
