Assembly Technician Required! On behalf of our client, we are looking to recruit an experienced Fitter/Assembler. The successful candidate will be responsible for building, repairing, refurbishing, and preparing equipment. Package: • Salary £28,000 - £30,000 (DOE), • 25 days holiday + bank holidays, • Company pension scheme, • Early finish Fridays, • Working hours Monday - Thursday 8am till 5pm and Fridays 8am till 1pm Assembly Technician - Responsibilities: • Actively participate in workshop activities including assembly, rework and testing of equipment, • Ensure all work is completed to specification, on time, and to required quality standards, • Ensure compliance with company quality standards and requirements, • Maintain strict adherence to health & safety procedures across all workshop activities, • Carry out quality inspections and checks, • Coordinate effectively with engineering, service, and production teams to meet deadlines Assembly Technician - Requirements: • Time-served engineer or qualified to HNC/HND, • Strong experience in mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly and build environments, including pipework assembly, brazing, and soldering, • The successful candidate will be required to supply their own standard hand tools for routine daily work.
