Pay: £27,000.00-£27,500.00 per year Job Description: Experienced veterinary receptionist wanted for independent mobile vet clinic - work from Trafford Park office – full time Are you looking for something a little different from the norm? We are a mobile small animal veterinary clinic based from south Manchester - covering the local area offering consultations, vaccinations and surgery on the client’s doorstep. We’re seeking a friendly, reliable and organized receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our clients, the receptionist plays a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our practice. We’re seeking a full time receptionist (4 x 10 hour days). Work is carried out from our central office in Trafford Park and would entail answering customer queries over the phone, email and social media, receiving deliveries and admin work. Very occasionally clients may visit to collect medications or ashes. This means a less stressful workload as you are not having to deal with answering the phone and with face to face customers at the same time. It does however mean you will be on your own for the majority of the time as we are out visiting clients, so you must be self motivated to keep working to a high standard with minimal supervision. We want to offer the best customer service possible. We aim to offer high quality veterinary care while keeping the stress for our patients to an absolute minimum. Experience • Previous veterinary reception or administrative experience is essential, demonstrating familiarity with clinic workflows and client interactions, • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage confidently with clients and team members, • A compassionate attitude towards animals and pet owners, coupled with a proactive approach to problem-solving This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dedicated mobile veterinary team committed to delivering compassionate pet care.
