We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking site operative to join our team on an as-needed basis, with the possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate. The role involves supporting various projects across the Northwest and Scotland, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely. This position requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work well within a team. Duties • Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment., • Perform general site tasks, including stripping non-hazardous materials (soft strips)., • Follow instructions from site management or company directors as needed., • Safely operate basic hand tools and power tools. (training will be provided), • Comply with health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment., • Promptly report any hazards or issues to management., • Removal of non-licensed asbestos material (CAT B training, medicals, PPE, and RPE will be provided for the right candidate). Skills • Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects., • Basic knowledge of tools and equipment is a plus., • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately., • Good communication skills for effective teamwork., • Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities., • Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential., • Must hold a full UK driving license., • Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be over 18 years old.
