Join our friendly NHS Dental practice as a Trainee Dental Nurse and embark on a rewarding career path. About the Role: As a Trainee Dental Nurse, you will work chairside with dentists, hygienists, and therapists, assisting with patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of the practice. Your responsibilities will include: • Preparing materials and equipment for various dental procedures., • Cleaning and sterilizing equipment in the decontamination room., • Maintaining the cleanliness and sterility of the surgery., • Assisting with developing radiographs (x-rays)., • Handling and managing laboratory work., • Maintaining stock supplies., • Potentially working at the reception desk, handling appointments, telephone calls, and payments after relevant training. Full training will be provided for all duties as part of your apprenticeship, alongside additional valuable training such as Basic Life Support. Who We're Looking For: We are seeking a helpful, friendly, and caring individual with excellent communication skills and a polite nature. You should be presentable, reliable, and punctual, capable of working effectively both as part of our small team and independently. Confidentiality is paramount in this role. Requirements: • Good computer literacy skills., • Must be immunised against Hepatitis B or prepared to do so., • Ability to pass a DBS check., • Applicants should either be already enrolled in an NEBDN course or prepared to start one soon after joining us.
