About The Nursery A well-established and reputable nursery, committed to creating a safe, fun, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. The nursery caters to children aged 6 months to 5 years, and it pride itself on providing exceptional care and early education to give every child the best start in life. Your Role: As a Nursery Practitioner, you will be an integral member of the nurseries dedicated team. You will work collaboratively with experienced staff to create a nurturing and enriching environment for children. Your responsibilities will include engaging in age-appropriate activities, assisting with mealtimes, supporting children's personal care needs, and maintaining a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all. Key Responsibilities: • Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum., • Observe and monitor children's progress, documenting their achievements and developmental milestones., • Foster positive relationships with both children and parents, ensuring effective communication., • Ensure a safe and hygienic environment for children at all times., • Support children's emotional well-being and provide comfort and encouragement when needed., • Collaborate with the team to create a creative and stimulating learning environment. Qualifications and Experience: • Hold a minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or an equivalent qualification., • Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting is desirable., • Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and its application in a nursery setting., • Strong communication and interpersonal skills., • A genuine passion for working with young children and contributing to their development. Working Hours: This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, with working hours from 8 am to 4 pm. We value a healthy work-life balance and offer a supportive working environment.
