We are currently recruiting a Qualified HGV Mechanic / Technician to join our busy and professional workshop team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technician looking for stability, progression, and ongoing training within a well-established operation. The Role As an HGV Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a fleet of Heavy Goods Vehicles to ensure they remain safe, reliable, and fully compliant with DVSA regulations. Key Duties • Servicing, maintaining, and repairing HGVs and trailers, • Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults, • MOT preparation, inspections, and defect rectification, • Carrying out safety checks, brake testing, and preventative maintenance, • Completing job cards and maintenance records accurately, • Ensuring all work meets DVSA and manufacturer standards, • Maintaining a clean and safe workshop environment Requirements • Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent), • Proven experience as an HGV Mechanic / Technician, • Full UK driving licence (HGV licence an advantage), • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills, • Good understanding of health & safety and compliance standards, • Must have own Tools Desirable (but not essential) • Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) licence, • IRTEC accreditation, • Experience with modern diagnostic systems What We Offer • Competitive salary with overtime available, • Stable, long-term employment, • Company pension scheme, • Uniform and PPE provided

The role involves carrying out first fix carpentry, including the installation of stud walls, joists, flooring systems, and roof structures on residential housing sites. You will be responsible for completing second fix carpentry, such as fitting doors, skirting, architraves, staircases, and ironmongery to a high standard. The position also includes installing timber frames, partitions, and other structural elements, working accurately from drawings and site plans. You will use hand and power tools safely and efficiently, ensuring all work meets site quality standards and current building regulations. Maintaining a clean, safe working area and complying with health and safety requirements is essential at all times.

Responsibilities Your responsibilities include: Working from our office in Leyton, Monday to Friday, 7am-4pm - Site survey visits using provided company car, meeting with clients for consultation stage, and helping to build quotation breakdowns and planning out project stages, as well as full fabrication technical drawing packages for extraction systems and fabrication items. - Company car (BMW) provided, work phone provided, computer with software provided. . Diagnosing system issues and implementing effective solutions. Collaborating with engineering teams to ensure system efficiency and compliance with safety standards. Assisting in the design and modification of HVAC systems to improve functionality. Ensuring all work adheres to health and safety regulations and building compliances. Qualifications: • Proven experience as an HVAC detailer and fabrication detailer., • Project management and Sales knowledge/ experience is preferred., • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, schematics, and system design., • Collaborating with construction sites., • UK driving license., • Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD or similar., • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail., • Good communication skills., • Preparing HVAC drawing packages and schematics for planning application approval., • Experience working within the manufacturing or construction industry is advantageous., • Commercial kitchen design experience preferred.

Location Various commercial sites (including out-of-hours work as required) Employment Type Full-time / Contract / Subcontract Job Purpose The General Builder will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of commercial building maintenance and repair works, including flooring installations, door repairs, minor plumbing tasks, and painting and decoration. The role requires flexibility, strong technical skills, and strict adherence to health and safety standards. Key Responsibilities – General Building Works • Carry out general building maintenance and repair works, • Prepare and protect work areas, • Complete works in line with specifications and standards, • Remove existing floor finishes and prepare subfloors, • Install vinyl, LVT, carpet tiles, laminate, timber, and tiles, • Apply primers and self-levelling compounds, • Refit skirting boards and trims, • Repair and adjust internal and external doors, • Replace hinges, closers, locks, and ironmongery, • Carry out minor carpentry works, • Replace taps, valves, traps, and WC components, • Carry out basic leak detection and pipework repairs, • Reconnect appliances such as sinks and dishwashers, • Prepare surfaces including filling, sanding, and priming, • Carry out internal painting and decorating to commercial standards, • Apply emulsion, gloss, satin, and specialist coatings as required, • Make good following repairs and maintenance works, • Follow site health & safety procedures and RAMS, • Work safely in occupied environments, • Proven commercial general building experience, • Strong flooring, decorating, and carpentry skills, • Basic to intermediate plumbing knowledge, • CSCS card (preferred), • Relevant trade qualifications (desirable), • Full UK driving licence (preferred), • Own tools (for subcontract roles)
