Malvern Way Infant & Nursery School is looking for an Office Manager to manage the planning, development and delivery of the adminstrative and financial functions within the school. The successful candidate will demonstrate a creative, solution focused approach to the role, will thrive in a busy working environment but stay calm and focused under pressure. The role will involve using RM Finance, Arbor and various online web-based programs and requires excellent ICT skills. Hours will be 8:30 to 16.30 for 4 days a week term-time only plus 2 weeks. Organize store operations and allocate responsibilities to personnel Supervise and guide staff towards maximum performance Monitor stock levels and purchases and ensure they stay within budget Ensure the store fulfills all legal health and safety guidelines appoints staff, assigns tasks and monitors and reviews staff performance liaises with other staff to provide information about merchandise, special promotions etc. to customers ensures that adequate reserves of merchandise are held and that stock keeping is carried out efficiently ensures customer complaints and queries regarding sales and service are appropriately handled oversees the maintenance of financial and other records and controls security arrangements for the premises authorises payment for supplies received and decides on vending price, discount rates and credit terms examines quality of merchandise and ensures that effective use is made of advertising and display facilities.

Design and implement strategies to capitalise on new market opportunities and drive business growth. Stay updated on the latest trends in the guitar and musical accessories industry, providing advice on adjustments to the company's products and strategies. Develop sales forecasts based on market conditions and company goals, working towards achieving and exceeding targets. Gain in-depth knowledge of the guitars and accessories sold by the company, analysing market positioning and competitive landscape to ensure a competitive edge in the industry. Manage the business development team, providing guidance and training to enhance overall team performance and achieve business growth objectives. Who We Are Looking For: Bachelor’s degree or above in Marketing, Business Administration, Music Industry Management, or a related field. At least 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing; experience in the music or retail industry is a plus. Experience in managing and marketing professional online platform account. Excellent client relationship management skills and communication abilities. Proficiency in data analysis tools and office software. A deep understanding of or strong interest in music, guitars, or the musical instrument industry. Proven team leadership experience with the ability to train and motivate a team to achieve goals.
