Community Support Worker (Children) • Location: Warrington, • Job Type: Part-time Day-to-day of the role: • Provide attentive care to children, addressing both their physical and emotional needs in their home environment., • Follow detailed care plans tailored to each child's specific needs, including those with complex needs and requirements for personal care., • Engage children in activities that promote their physical, emotional, and intellectual development., • Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for the children., • Monitor and report any changes in the conditions of children to relevant professionals., • Ensure all interactions and activities are conducted in a respectful and professional manner, adhering to all safeguarding protocols., • Travel between homes in the community, ensuring timely and efficient care delivery., • A minimum of 6 months care-related experience in the UK, preferably with children., • Must be able to provide references for the last 2 years of work., • Strong awareness of safeguarding issues and protocols, especially related to vulnerable groups., • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with children and their families., • Ability to work independently and as part of a team., • Empathetic and compassionate nature, with a commitment to providing high-quality care., • An up-to-date DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service.
