Position: Production Assembly Operative Reports to: Production Manager Pay Rate: £12.30 per hour (Pay will increase after full training and successful completion of the probation period.) Job Description Your main role will be to carry out the safe and accurate assembly of pyrotechnic products. You will be responsible for following all company rules, quality standards and safety guidelines to ensure products are built correctly and the production area runs smoothly and safely. Working Hours • Monday–Thursday: 08:00–16:00, • Friday: 08:00–15:00, • Paid break: 10:00–10:15, • Unpaid lunch: 12:30–13:00 Main Duties • Read and follow written and verbal instructions in English., • Use hand tools to assemble small and delicate components., • After training, work at a normal production speed based on factory timings., • Use all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided., • Keep your work area clean, tidy and safe., • Follow all Health & Safety rules., • Use basic maths (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, percentages)., • Carry out repetitive tasks with focus and care., • Sit, stand and reach comfortably during the day., • Use your hands and fingers to work with small parts and precision tools., • React quickly to visual and sound safety warnings.
