Kitchen Assistant Duties · Preparing batch recipes for spices, tinned products etc. · Sanitising the food preparation areas · Preparing ingredients, including washing and chopping · Sweeping, mopping, · Organising food supplies and ingredients · Assisting the chef and taking directions · Measuring and decanting finished products into desired portions · Packing products · Placing hot products in a blast chiller · Assisting with food expedition as per orders Kitchen Assistant Requirements · Previous kitchen work experience · Sound knowledge of food safety regulations · Physically fit and able to stand for entire shifts · Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team · Good verbal communication skills · Time management and organisational skills Please note that due to the nature of business our Kitchen is handling all meat products, including pork, as well as all allergens.
