What you'll be doing Working alongside our Head Chef you will: • Assist with preparing fresh meals and desserts for our residents., • Help serve meals in a timely and friendly manner., • Wash pots, utensils and kitchen equipment., • Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness throughout the kitchen., • Complete daily cleaning schedules., • Follow food hygiene and infection control procedures., • Support stock rotation and organisation., • Work closely with the care team to ensure residents receive the correct meals and special diets., • Help create a warm, welcoming dining experience for our residents. What we're looking for We're looking for someone who is: • Reliable and punctual., • Hardworking with a positive attitude., • Able to work well within a team., • Happy working in a busy kitchen environment., • Passionate about cleanliness and food hygiene., • Caring and respectful towards older people., • Flexible to work weekdays, weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis. Previous kitchen experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided. A Food Hygiene Certificate would be advantageous. Why join Parkview?
