As a Residential Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in supporting children aged 8–16 with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) in our new 3-bed home, Dearnalay House. Using a trauma-informed and therapeutic approach (PACE), you'll provide consistency, emotional support, and help children feel safe, heard, and cared for. 💼 Responsibilities:
Building positive relationships and acting as a role model
Supporting children with routines, personal care, education, and emotional regulation
Recording daily observations and working to individual care plans
Planning and joining in on fun and meaningful activities
Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of each child 🧩 What We’re Looking For:
Experience working with children or young people
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willing to work toward)
Resilient, compassionate, and reflective character
Willingness to work sleep-ins, weekends, and shifts
